The Super Sweet Way We’re Sharing the Story of Baby’s First Days

Sharing the Story of Baby’s First Days

How many photos and videos are on your phone right now?

I just checked, and I have 1,512 just in my phone’s camera roll (99 percent of which are of my children, of course!). That’s in addition to the thousands upon thousands I have stored elsewhere—on my computer, my external hard drive, in the cloud, everywhere!

Having so many photos and videos is a blessing, but finding a system for organizing, compiling, and sharing them is no easy task.

If you’re anything like me, you have good intentions of creating sweet photo montages of your family or video compilations of your kiddos, but never feel like you have the time or expertise to do it.

Unfortunately, I knew that would happen with all the beautiful photos from the first few days after the birth of our second baby. I assumed we’d snap tons of great shots, only to have them get buried in the depths of our cell phones or forgotten in the midst of sleep deprivation.

So when the opportunity came along to try the RealTimesโ„ข mobile app—which automatically creates beautiful video stories from your photos and videos, with very little effort on your part—I knew I wanted to use it to capture the first days of my daughter’s life.

(You can also view the video online here.)

Creating this sweet video was super simple. It does it all for you! And you can easily customize your story any way you’d like using the app’s special effects, titles, and music.

Sharing it was incredibly easy too. After I made the video, there were multiple sharing options—like posting to Facebook and sharing via email—that allowed me to share it with anyone on any device.

Another big perk is that your stories, photos, and videos automatically get organized into a user-friendly timeline, and you can create albums to keep collections together—making the process of arranging and finding them a snap.

They also back up automatically into your RealCloud, a private cloud drive that you can access on any smartphone, tablet, or computer, so you don’t have to worry about losing your precious memories. (You get 7GB of space for free when you sign up!)

Your Life. Now Playing.

If you’re looking at your photo collection of your kids and realizing you’re never going to have the time to organize it or do anything special with it, the RealTimesโ„ข app could really work for you.

It’s free to download for both Apple and Android devices, with two premium subscription plans that give you additional storage and access to extra music tracks, filters, and effects.

You can learn more and get the app at the RealTimesโ„ข website. Or connect with RealTimesโ„ข on Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube.
